Dr. Einmug

Doctor Einmug is a creation of Floyd Gottfredson for the story "Island in the Sky" (November 30, 1936 - April 3rd, 1937). In this story, he is an atomic scientist who has developed an atomic power formula, which Pete wants to steal, and lives on a Sky Island which floats high in the clouds. He has a strong German accent. His name is a contraction of "Einstein" and "mug". He is very naive. He won't be used anymore by this artist...

Then, in the story "Topolino e la Dimensione Delta" (Topolino 206/207, 1959), Romano Scarpa brings him "back to life", making him live in a parallel dimension, the Delta Dimension, and here he makes an anthropomised blue atom grow a gazillon times : Atomino Bip-Bip, who can blow a beam of mesons that has the property of changing the structure of matter (for instance, the iron into chocolate, or the snow into sugar,..), and of doing various other wonderful things (he originally was Doctor Einmug's helper, but Scarpa often used him as Mickey's friend). Then Scarpa used Doctor Eimug in two other stories and later abandonned the character.

Then, he has been used by a lot of artists, in a lot of stories ( more than 100 times ), in which he is not only a simple atomic scientist, but a scientist who deals with a lot of things such as weather, time travel,... And he is still very naive.
He doesn't live anymore in the Sky Island , neither in the Delta Dimension but in a labo in Mouseton, and he is a good friend of Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. He is often seen
