Doc E. Static first appears in 1995 in the story "Plastic Mickey!" (D 93303), by César Ferioli Pelaez and Michael T. Gilbert. Then he appeared in about 30 stories. He seems to have replaced Doctor Einmug in Egmont's recent stories.
Since his first appearance, he lives in the same house in Mouseton :
Another scientist who is a friend of Mickey is Thea Sulfate, who appeared in "The Icy Touch" (D 95087), by Noel Van Horn and Janet Gilbert, but he just appeared in this story.
I wanted to include him because his role is very similar to Static's one : he accidentally tests an experience on Mickey Mouse or Goofy which gives them a kind of superpower (in this story, Mickey makes all the things he touches become ice, but with Doc. Static, he also became elastic,... and Goofy became a giant...).
