The Mouseworks
series, which had its official preview was on May 1st, 1999 at 12:00, features
both Mice and Ducks characters (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and
Dale, Donald, Daisy, Scrooge, Pete, Ludwig Von Drake, Max and all the traditionnal
Disney cartoon characters, plus some Disney comics characters such as the
Phantom Blot and Chief O'Hara,...). Moreover, since the House
of Mouse show, this universe also includes other Disney characters,
like for instance characters from Disney Movies (Alice, Mushu, the Queen
of Hearts, Winnie the Pooh, Hades, Simba, Beast, and tons of other characters...).
In this universe all of the characters live in the same unnamed city (it
looks a lot like Spoonerville). The PC videogame "Mickey
Saves the Day" takes place in this universe. In this game,
the universe is called Disneyville, and we can see the following
map :
We can recognize Pete's Castle, Mickey, Donald
and Goofy's Boat, and other places from the series...
The only other place where I saw the name Disneyville
as the Disney characters' hometown is the little French illustrated book
"Expédition Picsou" (Ed. Les deux coqs d'or, Coll.
L'étoile d'or, French text : H. Valot, printed in Italy,1966, there
has been another publication in 1969).There have been some other books
for children where the city is called Disneyville too. ("Mystery in
Disneyville", 1939, "School Days In Disneyville", 1939, ...).
